THE REEVES’ INITIATIVES
I believe I can introduce a practical but effective community safety plan that will help make District 5 neighborhoods safer now and for generations to come.
I believe that seniors are important to any thriving community. I will work to put initiatives in place that will assist seniors to remain independent, while affording them the opportunities to work with others for the betterment of the District. Their wisdom will be welcomed and their voices will be heard!
I believe that the youth in our community are full of potential, and I will continue to work to put programs in place that will give them access to resources that will help position them to have a brighter future.
I believe that small businesses are the very fiber that drive economic growth in any community. As a kid, I walked up and down Old National Hwy handing out flyers for my parent’s small business, Ditto Press. I saw the fruits of their labor then, and I see fruits of my labor now as a business owner. I will work tirelessly to break down barriers and to promote sustainable economic growth for the small businesses in District 5.
I have led community initiatives against sex trafficking and breast cancer awareness. I also host community events and golf tournaments to support non-profits, among other efforts in our district. I truly believe that by empowering District 5’s citizens to help and support others, we can be a beacon of light and model for others to follow.
